Kevin Feige, the President of Marvel Studios, has confirmed at a press event in Shanghai that this summer’s Spider-Man: Far From Home will mark the end of phase 3 of the MCU.
Previously it was announced that Avengers: Endgame would end Phase 3, back when the movie was first announced in 2015. Back then, the film was known as Avengers: Infinity War Pt.2 but since then the title has been changed.
In the fan event, Feige confirmed Far From Home as “It’s the end of the third phase.”
Spider-Man: Far From Home has been long-confirmed to be set after Endgame, which is something that the fans have been confused about ever since the first trailer came out. The film is, as per Feige, set “minutes after Avengers 4”, which is why the second trailer has still not been released.
